I have tried clothes bunched up, platypus bladder in a stuff sack, airplane neck pillow, & many big box as well as cottage industry pillows made for hammocks. I found most hammock pillows have way too much loft / filling pushing your chin into your chest. I naturally decided to give dutch pillow a shot cause all the dutchware i own is superior. Dutch did it again! This pillow is just right! Super soft , just the right about of support & perfect for gathered end hammocks. Highly recommend
